Working for Veterans
Kristen McConnell is a U.S. Army veteran and served in Desert Storm. McConnell received her J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, spending the last half of law school working in their Veterans Advocacy Clinic assisting veterans with their claims. Her military service, civilian government experience, international programs problem-solving skills, and personal experience with her own VA disability claim provided the impetus for McConnell to advocate for her fellow veterans through veterans advocacy law. Additionally, she holds an M.Ed. and a B.A. in English from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas.
